Joe Macor is a business owner and lifelong resident of Duluth’s Fond du Lac neighborhood. He also serves as co-vice president of the Irving Community Club, a member of the GND Development Alliance, and is a longtime youth sports coach.
Joe graduated from Denfeld High School in 2001 and obtained a law enforcement degree from Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College in 2004.
Joe and his wife, Holly, own Comfort Living Adult Foster Care in Fond du Lac, where they and five other employees care for developmentally disabled adults in their home. The Macors, who have three children, started the business in 2008.
Joe is also committed to helping youth in the community, as a football and alpine ski coach. Joe has coached youth football since 2001 and is president of the Denfeld Junior Football League. He also volunteers as president and founder of the Northland Youth Football Conference, which stretches from the Twin Ports to Ashland, Wisc., and from Two Harbors to Moose Lake, Minn.
Since 2017, he has been head coach of the Denfeld and East High School boys and girls alpine ski teams and has been a volunteer ski coach for Mont Du Lac Alpine since 2010.
